Terms and Conditions: Administrator Permission

Note: Updated on 08th March 2024.

These Terms and Conditions relate to the granting of administrative permissions (settings) to any user linked to the client's Odoo subscription, on their database (instance) installed and maintained by Arxilead - Tecnologia e Gestão, Lda  (Arxi). From the moment administrative permissions (client's administrator user) are assigned, the Client is bound by these Terms and Conditions. If they do not agree with any part of these terms, the respective permission cannot be granted.

1. Installation of Applications (apps)

The installation of any application on the client's database by their administrator user is entirely their responsibility, considering that such installation may affect and/or impact unidentified legal requirements.

2. Configuration Changes

Any change to the general settings (definitions) and of each application in their database, by the client's administrator user, is entirely their responsibility, considering that the change may affect and/or impact unidentified legal requirements.

3. Acknowledgement and Consent

In order for the client to be aware of the risks associated with actions inherent to the administrator user, whenever possible, the system will generate an alert whenever the user attempts to install an application or try to change settings that pose risks and are not recommended by Arxi. Thus, upon receiving the alert, the administrator users must acknowledge the involved risks and consent in order to proceed with the actions in the system despite the associated risk.

The client's administrator users acknowledge that they have been informed of the specific risks associated with the action they are about to perform in their Odoo database.

The Client and their respective administrator users explicitly agree to accept all responsibility for any consequences that may arise from making any kind of configuration and setting changes and from proceeding with any action against the recommendations provided.

Arxi will maintain a record of the acknowledgement and consent given by the Administrator Users, indicating that they were informed of the associated risks.

4. Limitation of Liability

Arxi will not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the installation of applications and/or changes in configurations/settings.

5. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

Arxi reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
